Hannah Wagner began her dance training at the Classical Ballet Academy of Ballet Minnesota in St. Paul, Minnesota. She broadened her education and exposure to other dance genres in the Twin Cities at the St. Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists where she had the opportunity to perform works by Toni and Uri Sands, Penny Freeh, Maggie Bergeron, Justin Leaf and more. In 2012, Hannah joined Ballet Minnesota as a company apprentice.

In 2017, Hannah graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography. She also had the honor of performing alongside Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in their Kansas City performance of Memoria in 2014. While still working on her degree, Hannah joined Wylliams Henry Contemporary Dance Company, where she had the opportunity to perform professionally, including works by Kevin Iega Jeff, DeAnna Hiett, Gary Abbott, and more.

Upon graduating, Hannah relocated to New York City, where she joined Nimbus2 of Nimbus Dance Works. She was invited to perform at the Perpetuum Mobile International Festival in 2018 in Brussels, Belgium, where she choreographed and premiered a solo work entitled Am I…? . The same summer, she studied at the Tecniche de Danza in Rome, Italy, organized and led by Caterina Rago and Christine Dakin. Upon finishing the program, Hannah was invited to join the Caterina Rago Dance Company with whom she is currently performing with. She is also an artist with the Dynamite Experience, also based in NYC. In 2019, Hannah obtained her Comprehensive Pilates Instructor License.

Most recently, she returned to the Perpetuum Mobile Festival, and premiered a piece IN EACH PASSING MOMENT… in collaboration with saxophonist and composer Joey Rosin. The piece will premiere in the United States on September 18, 2022.
